Just happened to find my favorite old youtuber posted his update video!! So hyped!!

It’s been 10+ years. He was my best english teacher back then. As you know, I’m not as social so just watching him play video games helped me a lot on improving pronunciations and whatnot. people point out my english isn’t as feminine but that’s all because of him lol

One of my favorite phrases I learned from him; “They don’t give a shit.” I was so happy when a protagonist of the famous game said “like I give a shit.” when threatened by his enemies. So sick!!

Yes he’s a huge fan of this specific game series and I kept watching his videos as I too am a huge fan of them. I remember most of the lines and stories in japanese so it was fun to watch how they were translated into english.

If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t have achieved C2 level as a nonnative speaker. I left comments showing my appreciation on his new video today. He was talking about how he’s been busy with his life that he had to stop posting walkthroughs. Now he is a father of two daughters. Yet he says he wants to return to YouTube and start posting videos again like he used to.

I recently talked about how I miss America. Well he’s a part of it. I miss everything back then. So much has changed since then. I had a lot of Chinese friends and they loved Japanese pops and cultures. Now it’s opposite thanks to nationalism today. I see many Chinese who hate Japan. It’s all about education. So sad to

Ah, I wrote this in english because my english is rusty. Title “oh dear” comes from this, but I’ll keep it up!!
